Charlie W. PalmerNorthborough – Charles W. “Charlie” Palmer passed away at the age of 76 on November 6, 2018, after a period of declining health.

Charlie was born in Marlborough, a son of the late Charles and Lillian (Berthiaume) Palmer, and was a lifelong resident of Northborough.

For over 50 years, Charlie was a self-employed truck driver.

When not behind the wheel, Charlie enjoyed motorcycles, waterskiing, boat racing and restoring vintage autos. Above all, he cherished spending time in conversation with his family and friends gathered around the kitchen table. He looked forward to riding his motorcycle and always found pleasure taking the bikes out on the road with his daughter, Sharon.

Charlies leaves two daughters, Sharon DiSilvestro and her fiancé Jim Burns of Brimfield and Nanci Wonson and her husband Ross of Indiana; four grandchildren, Dante, Gabrielle, Madison and Victoria; and many nieces and nephews.

A time of visitation with Charlie’s family will take place Wednesday, Nov. 14, from 4-6 p.m., at Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St., Northborough.
