Northborough/Gardner – Robert D. “Rob” Tucker passed away Nov. 24, 2018. Rob was 36 years old, born on July 3, 1982.
Rob was a remarkable man, artistic, funny, intelligent, kind and loving. He will be terribly missed by his family and friends to whose lives he brought much laughter and joy.
Rob was in recovery for over 3 years before he relapsed and died of an accidental overdose.
Rob, a beloved son of the Honorable Richard T. and Lynn M. (Meyer) Tucker of Northborough, is survived by his older brother, Lee H. Tucker and partner Michael Murphy of New York City; his girlfriend, Bobbie Lee Hubbard and her son Aidan of Ashburnham; aunts and uncles, Jean and Glenn Hitchens, Del., Melissa and Waddy Rowe, N.H., Jenny and Don O’Neil of Massachusetts, Fern and Charlie Meyer, Ga., and Kim Clark and David Doolittle of Vermont, and numerous cousins. An uncle, Robert Meyer, is deceased.
Rob grew up in Northborough and attended Algonquin Regional High School and St. John’s High Schools prior to enrolling at New England Institute of Technology. He was currently working as a press operator at the Garlock Printing and Conversion Co. in Gardner.
Private services for Rob were held; there are no public services planned.
