Hudson – Russell J. Ducey, 54, a lifelong Hudson resident, passed away unexpectedly at home Nov. 29, 2018.
Russell was born in Marlborough on March 7, 1964, a son of the late Herbert J. and Laura J. (MacLean) Ducey. He graduated from Hudson High School and worked locally as an electronics assembler.
Russell was an upbeat, happy-go-lucky person who always had a positive attitude regardless of the situation. Music was Russell’s true life’s passion and he was a talented drummer, guitarist and keyboard player. Russell played for several local bands in the area.
Russel is survived by his brother, Herbert J. Ducey Jr. of Marlborough; his niece, Julia Ducey; and his uncle, Norman MacLean. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his brother, Scott J. Ducey.
All services will be held privately. Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home is honored to be assisting with his arrangements.
