Philip RainhaMarlborough – Philip George Rainha, 73, formerly of Marlborough, passed away Nov. 7, 2018 in Mesa, Ariz. Mr. Rainha has most recently resided in Casa Grande, Ariz.

Mr. Rainha was born Sept. 22, 1945 in Marlborough. He was the son of Carl and Alice Rainha, both from Hudson. He graduated from Marlborough High School with the class of 1964.

Mr. Rainha proudly served in the U. S. Navy for 12 years and retired from the Navy with the rank of Chief Petty Officer, serving on the USS Haddo. He was later employed at the Connecticut Yankee Atomic Power Company until retirement. He most recently enjoyed employment at the Bistro at the Casa Grande Palm Creek Golf and RV Resort, where he made many friends and where he was well known and well liked.

Mr. Rainha is survived by his wife, Niki, of 42 years. He is also survived by Donna Vizzo (Rainha) of Massachusetts; Sherri Duncan (Rainha) currently residing in Florida; his uncle, Felix Caponi of Hudson; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be at the discretion of the family at a later date.
