Marlborough –The Marlborough Public Library, 35 West Main St., is offering free upcoming special events for kids and teens.

Children’s events

The Children’s Room will have all kinds of activities during the holiday break. Come and make a Cactus Snow Globe craft and listen to some holiday stories Wednesday, Dec. 26, at 2 p.m. (ages 3 and up, with a caregiver).

On Thursday, Dec. 27, at 11 a.m., the Snow Sisters will join the library for a party! Dress up as your favorite fairytale princess or prince. There will be an interactive story time, singing, dancing, glitter tattoos, games and a snack. The Snow Sisters will also be available for photos and autographs (ages 3 and up, with a caregiver).

On Friday, Dec. 28 at 10 a.m., there will be a Gingerbread House Workshop (ages 7-11). Please pre-register for the workshop.

Teen events

“Wizarding Wonders” will be held Thursday, Dec. 27, from 4-6 p.m. Mandy from Wicked Good Henna will guide you through three different stations of “Harry Potter” crafting, plus a grand finale of decorating your own owl cupcake! (Open to grades 6 and up.) Space is limited; registration is required.

ArtLab for Teens will be held Friday, Dec. 28, from 2-4 p.m. Come to the library and get creative with acrylic paints and a blank canvas. Materials will be provided; just bring your creativity and wear clothes that can get a little messy! (Open to teens going into grades 6-12). Pre-registration is required.
