Marlborough – Michael DelGenio of Marlborough took advantage of unseasonably warm weather Jan. 1 by ringing in a new year wake boarding at Fort Meadow Reservoir. Although the air temperature was around 50 degrees for most of the day, the water was a chilly 39 degrees. DelGenio, 20, is a junior at UMass-Lowell studying mechanical engineering.
