John E. KerriganHudson – John E. Kerrigan, 63, a lifelong resident of Hudson, passed away peacefully Jan. 5, 2019 at Marlborough Hospital, with his family by his side.

John was born Dec. 14, 1955 in Hudson, a son of the late Robert F Kerrigan Sr. and Lorraine T. (Langelier) Kerrigan. He graduated from Hudson High School and worked in town as a laborer at D. Ferruccio & Sons Oil.

John was well known around Hudson, often seen riding his bike around town. He was a long-time member of the Hudson Elks, a social member of the Hudson VFW and a past member of the Hudson Eagles. John also enjoyed fishing and playing bocce ball.

John is survived by his siblings, Robert F. Kerrigan Jr. of Boxborough, Laurie J. Kerrigan and her companion Tom Garry of San Jose, Calif., Steven W. Kerrigan and his wife Colleen of Marlborough, and Paul D. Kerrigan and his wife Maria of Hudson; his aunt, Mary Shay of Hudson; his lifelong friend, Kevin Ferruccio; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to a period of calling hours Saturday, Jan. 12, from 12-2 p.m., at Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson, followed by a Celebration of His Life at 2 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private at a later time.
