Joseph LevitreGrafton – Joseph D. Levitre, 28, passed away at home Jan. 30, 2019, surrounded by his loving family.

He leaves his mother, Marla (Mullen) Levitre; his brothers, Nicholas and Eric Levitre; and his grandmother, June Murray. He was predeceased by his father, Norman Levitre, and his infant son, Roman Levitre.

Joe was born June 5, 1990 in Worcester, and he grew up in Grafton.

Recently he had been working in the fabricating field and he loved the job.

Away from work he was happiest taking trips to Lake Estes in Maine with his cousins, likely with a fishing rod in hand. The sound of his electric guitar in his arms or of a vintage muscle car always brought him joy. During the winter you could find him on a snowboard or catching a Boston Celtics game.

Please honor Joe’s memory with a memorial donation to The First United Methodist Church, c/o Discretionary Fund, 120 West Main St., Westborough, MA 01581.

All are welcome to gather with Joe’s family Wednesday, Feb. 6, from 4-7 p.m., at Roney Funeral Home, 152 Worcester St., North Grafton. His funeral service will be held Thursday, Feb. 7, at 10 a.m., at The First United Methodist Church in Westborough. Burial will be private.
