Virginia AlicandroShrewsbury – Virginia M. (O’Brien) Alicandro, 93, of Shrewsbury passed away peacefully Jan. 31, 2019 at Shrewsbury Nursing Home. Virginia was predeceased by her parents, John R. and Aileen (Kennelly) O’Brien, and her beloved husband, John Alicandro.

Virginia was very proud to be a homemaker and caretaker for the ones she loved most, including her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. You would find Virginia spending time with family at her summer home in East Falmouth, where for 40 years she spent weekends and summers traveling back and forth creating a lifetime of memories.

Virginia loved to cook, hosting every holiday in her home making family favorites. As her family grew bigger, she would enjoy watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren swim in the family pool.

When Virginia’s husband retired, she decided she would as well. She left the kitchen to enjoy dinner out with John.
