Shrewsbury – During the late hours of Feb. 3, an accident occurred on Route 9 in front of Gastonart & Frame located at 257 Boston Turnpike that took out five trees in median.
Shrewsbury Assistant Town Manager Kristen Las, who was contacted for comment, said that it was an accident but could not share any further details on how the accident occurred. She did say that the Lakeway Business District was working with the party at fault to replace and care for the trees lost.
As of Feb. 22, the trees had not been removed pending resolution of insurance issues.
