Grafton – Robert L. “Bob” Bishop, 58, passed away unexpectedly at home Feb. 20, 2019.
He leaves his wife of 27 years, Christine (Masnicki) Bishop; his children, Jason Bishop, Stephanie Agerton and her husband Orry and Brian Bishop; his siblings, Susan Cappadona and her husband Michael, Clark Zampella and his wife Laurie, Meredith Bishop and Phil Bishop and his wife Jennifer; and his stepmother, Gail Bishop. He was predeceased by his father, Phillip Bishop, and his mother, Alice (Seeley) and her husband Dr. Arthur Zampella. He also is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Bob was born in Tacoma, Wash., but his roots were in West Milford, N.J. Bob was devoted to his children throughout his life, and also to his beloved King Charles spaniels, Charlie and Lucy, that he adored.
He was easy to find with a fly-fishing rod in hand along the Swift River, and he was a fiercely loyal New England Patriots fan.
All are welcome to gather with Bob’s family Tuesday, Feb. 26, from 4-7 p.m., at Roney Funeral Home, 152 Worcester St., North Grafton. A prayer service will be offered for Bob Wednesday, Feb. 27, at 11 a.m., in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
