Westborough – State Rep. Hannah Kane (R-Shrewsbury) will be the guest speaker at the next Westborough Women’s Club meeting, Tuesday, March 12 at 12 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 17 Willow St.

Kane is one of three women who serve as Westborough’s state representatives. She will be speaking on the subject “Women in Public Service and Leadership Roles”.

Westborough School Superintendent Amber Bock will also present remarks.

The Westborough Women’s Club supports programs for the betterment of the Westborough community. Members are encouraged this month to bring a monetary donation for the Charlotte Spinney Vision Scholarship Program to this meeting.

The Club will also be hosting a “Ladies Night Out” on Friday, March 29, at 6:30 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall.

“Meet Julia Child!,” a live performance featuring “Julia Child” will be presented by the Delvena Theatre Company. The audience will learn about Julia Child’s life and have the opportunity to view “Julia” on the set of The French Chef, an amusing and fun experience.

Club members will be serving appetizers and desserts during the evening. Attendees will also have the opportunity to win one of the many raffle prizes.

Tickets are $25 and limited. Send your check payable to “WWC” with your name, phone number, and email address to P.O. Box 182, Westborough, MA 01581. You may also make your seat reservations at the Town Clerk’s Office in the Westborough Town Hall on West Main Street.

Any questions about ticket reservations contact Elaine at 508- 366-8585 or Linda at 508-366-9332.

Proceeds will assist the WWC in its continued outreach efforts in the community. New members are always welcome – call 508-341-8089 for member information.
