Marlborough to host session on Municipal Vulnerability PreparednessMarlborough – The city of Marlborough will be hosting a public listening session on the Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness Program on Monday, March 25 from 6-7 p.m.

The Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness grant program (MVP) provides support for cities and towns in Massachusetts to begin the process of planning for climate resiliency. Communities who complete the MVP program become certified as an MVP community and are eligible for follow-up grant funding and other opportunities.

The city of Marlborough and its MVP Certified Provider, the Metropolitan Area Planning Council, will review findings from a MVP Workshop which was held on Feb.  7.

The broader community is invited to the March 25 listening session to allow for a two-way exchange between the MVP Community Core Team and members of the concerned pubic. The session will be held at Marlborough City Hall, 140 Main St., 3rd floor, Memorial Hall.
