Shrewsbury – In the midst of holiday preparations last fall, the Shrewsbury Garden Club held their annual Scholarship Tea to raise funds for their student scholarships. The Garden Club is now pleased to announce that they are now accepting applications from high school seniors or current college students already studying or planning a degree in the fields of horticulture, landscaping, environmental studies or related fields to receive a $1,000 scholarship to aid in their educational expenses.
Applicants must be Shrewsbury residents. Applications and more information may be obtained by visiting www.ShrewsburyGardenClub.org and clicking on the Scholarship page link. Deadline for applying is Monday, April 15.
