Westborough – Are you thinking about retiring? Closing in on 65? Or are you planning to continue working past “retirement age?” Planning for your future can be confusing!
If you are getting close to Medicare eligibility, you are invited to attend a free seminar on Wednesday, April 10, at 6:30 p.m. at the Westborough Senior Center. The Senior Center is located at 4 Rogers Road (off of Route 30/East Main Street)
Planning for Medicare will be presented by Susan Flanagan, Senior Plan Consultant for Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Massachusetts. The program is geared towards individuals approaching Medicare eligibility. Topics covered will include health insurance information outside of employer sponsored coverage, explanation of Medicare, the Medicare enrollment timeline, Medigap and Medicare Advantage plans and programs available to early retirees and COBRA. She will also explain Medicare Part D prescription drug plans. Bill LaPrade from SHINE will also be available to answer additional questions. This is NOT a sales meeting.
