Marlborough – Jessie I. Chesbrough, 86, of Marlborough, passed away March 23, 2019 at Marlborough Hospital after a period of declining health. Jessie was predeceased by her husband, Philip Chesbrough, in 2005. She was also the wife of the late Joseph R. Roberts.
Jessie was born in North Adams, the daughter of the late John and Ida (Ward) McPhail.
For a number of years, Jessie worked as a secretary at the Marlborough Senior Center.
She leaves behind her sons, Joseph Roberts and his wife Anne of Hopkinton and Richard Roberts and Lisa of Marlborough; a daughter-in-law, Donna Roberts of Marlborough; and her grandchildren, Ashley, Matthew, Christopher, David, Gillian, Shawn and Hannah and Abby and Lauren Jordan. She was also predeceased by two sons, David and John Roberts, and two sisters, Helen and Lillian.
There are no calling hours. Burial will be private at a later date.
