To the Editor:
I am writing today to encourage the voters in Shrewsbury to cast their Housing Authority vote for Beth Shea Bryant. Beth has been a nurse for over 30 years, currently working with low-income seniors, most of whom live in public housing units. This experience gives Beth valuable insight into the needs of those who are served by public housing. She also is a mother of a daughter diagnosed with disabilities, which has guided her values, advocacy, and desire to help others.
Beth has lived in Shrewsbury for most of her life, graduating from SHS in 1980. Both of her daughters were educated in our excellent Shrewsbury Public Schools. Beth’s commitment to Shrewsbury encouraged her to serve on the Commission on Disabilities, become a Town Meeting Member from Precinct 8, and be active in the community, to bring our town an opportunity to experience the richness of the vast cultures in our own community, and most recently as an Animal Assisted Therapy Team with her dog, Baxter.
Seeing her compassionate work with seniors, those with disabilities, and other community members has been inspiring. Beth will bring her experiences, passion, and dedication to the Town of Shrewsbury to the Housing Authority.
Please join me in voting for Beth Shea Bryant on Tuesday May 7th.
