To the Editor:
I am excited to endorse John R. Samia for Selectmen in Shrewsbury. With John’s combination of passion for our community and practical executive experience, he is extraordinarily qualified to advocate for our town.
John is a community leader and has given much to make Shrewsbury a great place to live and work. John’s tenure as a long term school committee member has provided him with a detailed understanding of our budget. His unique skill set in financial problem solving as a corporate attorney coupled with his inclusive leadership style will allow him to partner with town leaders to tackle any challenges our community needs to address.
Mr. Samia has strong leadership and collaborative skills. He is hard working, detailed oriented and driven to make our town even better! John is a lifelong resident with a very complete understanding of what makes Shrewsbury an incredible community.
The most important skill John can bring to the Board of Selectmen is a thoughtful and measured approach to our town’s challenges. He does think analytically but is also an “out of the box” solution oriented leader. He is a dad, volunteer, and a lifelong learner and will listen carefully to what our community has to say. John believes we all have a voice and wants to serve our community to the best of his ability.
