James A. RegisHudson – James “Jim” A. Regis, 85, of Hudson, passed away peacefully March 27, 2019 at Rose Monahan Hospice in Worcester, surrounded by his loving family, after a period of declining health. He leaves behind his beloved wife of over 60 years, Joyce (Hubbard) Regis.

Jim was born Sept. 25, 1933, a son of the late Peter J. and Irene (Davis) Regis. He was raised in Lowell and Dracut, and graduated from Lowell High School. Following high school, Jim honorably served his Nation in the United States Army during the Korean War from 1954 until 1956. Jim later earned an associate degree in Electronics from Northeastern University and had a long and successful career as a supervisor for Polaroid Corporation.

Jim was a practical and modest man, who was fully devoted to his family. He took pride in his home and enjoyed the tasks of doing yard work. He was also an avid reader of non-fiction books.

Amongst his many loving family members, he leaves his five children, Bonnie J. Kinsman and her husband Scott of Berlin, Peter J. Regis of Northbridge, Lynette S. Regis-Tracy of Hudson, Pamela I. Walsh and her husband Robert of Tuscarora, Md., and Mark L. Regis and his wife Lori of Hudson; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his siblings, Francis Regis and Ethel Redick.

All services will be private. Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home is honored to be assisting with his arrangements.
