Northborough/Southborough – Each April, cities and towns across the country celebrate Earth Day with a host of activities including community-wide clean ups. This year, the Northborough and Southborough conservation commissions are asking local kids to get further involved by participating in a poster contest. Kids are encouraged to create a hand-drawn poster on 8 ½ x 11 paper related to this year’s theme of “Protect Our Species” and Earth Day (sustainability, recycling, trees, and water.)
Entries are due by Saturday, April 27 at either the Southborough Conservation Committee office or Northborough Engineering/Planning Office or at the town’s respective clean up days. For more information visit www.town.northborough.ma.us.
