Northborough – Worcester District Attorney Joseph D. Early issued this statement this afternoon:
The husband and wife killed in a murder-suicide last night in Northborough have been identified.
Debra Blasko and Thomas M. Blasko, both 57, and both of 18 Pond View Way were shot to death in a murder-suicide, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr. Mr. Blasko was pronounced dead at their home. Mrs. Blasko was pronounced dead at UMass Memorial Hospital in Worcester.
Northborough Police responded to a 911 call shortly after 10 p.m. last night. It was reported to police that the two were involved in a domestic dispute. Mr. Blasko shot Mrs. Blasko and then turned the gun on himself. The State Police Detectives assigned to the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office and the Northborough Police are continuing to investigate.
Northborough Police assured the public that there is no outstanding threat.
