To the Editor:
I am writing today to ask the voters in Shrewsbury to cast their Housing Authority vote for Paul Campaniello. I have known Paul for over 40 years and have personally witnessed his tireless dedication to his community. I have seen him take on very difficult causes, whether it be working with low-income seniors, those struggling to afford fuel in the winter or women battling ovarian cancer.
As a nurse, I am moved by his level of compassion. Moreover, he is articulate, intelligent and collaborative. During his tenure on the Shrewsbury Housing Authority (SHA), they have returned nearly half a million dollars to the town, while increasing housing and providing services such as the Council on Aging Van subsidiary. Additional accomplishments include the launching of a new SHA website and the modernization of the SHA’s systems and security.
Paul has lived in this community his entire life. He is married with two children. In addition to his work on the SHA, Paul is also a founding member of the Shrewsbury Oil Assistance Relief. He has been a Town Meeting Member since 1989 and is a member of the Beal School Re-use Committee. He has served on various philanthropic and nonprofit host committees and has been an enthusiastic charitable supporter of town projects, like the Library Capital Campaign.
Paul brings experience, compassion, collaboration and business acumen to the Housing Authority.
Please join me in voting for Paul Campaniello on Tuesday, May 7.
