Northborough – The community at large is responding in a very generous way to help five children whose parents tragically died earlier this week.

In a press release, Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr. said on the night of April 23, Thomas Blasko, 57, allegedly killed his wife Debra, 57, and then committed suicide after the couple had a domestic dispute at their Northborough home.

According to a Go Fund Me page set up for the Blasko children, three of the children are adults and two are minors.  The family also had several pets, including dogs, cats, birds and rabbits.

As of April 27, $42,000 of the $45,000 Go Fund Me goal has been met. Additionally listeners of Greg Hill, the popular host of radio station WAAF’s the Hill Man Morning Show, contributed over $6,000 for the family, surpassing the $5,000 goal.
