To the Editor:
I am excited to support John Samia for a seat on Shrewsbury’s Board of Selectmen in the May 7th Annual Town Election.
I had the privilege to serve with John for three years on the Shrewsbury School Committee. I know him as someone who is not only a champion of Shrewsbury’s schools, but a responsible steward of taxpayer dollars, interested in achieving the best results and the greatest value for residents. He understands that our excellent schools are what brought many families to Shrewsbury in the first place, and appreciates Shrewsbury’s commitment to high achievement.
He is forward-thinking, with goals for our community that combine what is already great about Shrewsbury with a vision for smarter growth, more responsive government, and modernized services. John is someone who listens to all, with an open mind, and a desire to see all residents have a voice in government. John’s approach to service will be a positive force for good on our Board of Selectmen. I am proud to support his candidacy.
