Shrewsbury voters elect Samia and Lebeaux for BOS; Campaniello wins seat on Housing Authority

Shrewsbury –John Samia and incumbent John Lebeaux defeated contenders Jonjy Ananth and Stephen Trotto to win the two seats on the Shrewsbury Board of Selectmen in the May 7 annual town election. Samia had 2,341 votes; Lebeaux 2,035, Ananth 1,706 and Trotto 811.

In the other hotly contested race, incumbent Paul Campaniello (1,953 votes) defeated Beth Shea Bryant (1,282) and Brenda Brown (541) to win the race for the seat on the Shrewsbury Housing Authority.
