Donald K. Landroche Sr.South Dennis – Donald K. Landroche Sr., 79, of South Dennis, formerly of Westborough, passed away unexpectedly May 7, 2019 at home. He was the husband of Gale A. (Uhlman) Landroche.

Born in Rochester, N.H., he was the son of the late John B. and Ruth Dorothy (Pickering) Landroche and was raised and educated in Westborough. Following high school, he served four years with the United States Marine Corps attaining the rank of Corporal.

Don worked for many years for the Westborough Department of Public Works ending his career as Head of Parks and Recreation. He also worked on the Uhlman Family Farm.

He was a member of the American Legion Post 9013 and volunteered for Toys For Tots.

In addition to his wife he is survived by four children, Tina M. Landroche and her husband David Abts of LaCenter, Wash., Donald K. Landroche Jr. and his wife Nancy of Westborough, Sherry J. Audette and her husband Gerry of Uxbridge, and John P. Landroche and his wife Barbara of Westborough, and eight grandchildren, Megan, Kelsey, Alexandra, John Jr., Jocelyn, Jackson, Michael, and Jonathan.

His graveside funeral service, with Military Honors, will be held Monday, May 13, at 12 p.m., in Pine Grove Cemetery, South Street, Westborough. There are no calling hours.
