Marlborough – Main Street Bank recently introduced a formal employee mentorship program for employees from all departments to be paired with and learn from bank officers and senior management to support career growth and internal promotions. Called Rising Star Mentorship, the program will serve to provide a valuable resource of guidance and education for employees seeking to grow in their careers at Main Street Bank.

The program, designed and developed by Main Street Bank employees, allows mentors and mentees to apply for participation, and pairs them based upon skill sets, career aspirations, and personality traits. Robert Sousa, Lead Credit Analyst at Main Street Bank, originally proposed the idea for the program as an internal suggestion.
