Southborough- The Rotary Club of Southborough is again sponsoring a Food Truck Festival on Saint Mark’s field at the intersection of Routes 30 and 85 in Southborough center.
An array of food trucks will be offering a variety of mouth-watering menus on four consecutive Wednesday evenings (May 22, May 29, June 5 and June 12) from 3:30 – 7:30 p.m. Each Wednesday will bring a new line up of four Food Trucks so don’t miss out on the opportunity of enjoying the varied menus being offered each week. For dessert there is also an ice cream truck just waiting to please you.
There is no charge to attend the festival; you need only purchase the food items you desire. Of course any donations made to the Southborough Rotary Club help continue the many programs we sponsor in Southborough during the year.
This year we are adding a “Socks for Veterans” donation drive. We are asking people bring new socks, white athletic preferred (diabetic if possible), to the festival and donate them to help homeless Veterans. Look for the Army Jeep on the field; help us fill the Jeep with donated socks. CityWide of Boston, located here in Southborough, is sponsoring this effort for all four Wednesdays of the festival. Main Street Bank has generously offered to give the first 100 donors a $10 food truck voucher to anyone bringing two or more pairs of new socks.
