Worcester – Saint George Orthodox Cathedral, 30 Anna St., Worcester, will be hosting its first Middle Eastern Festival in 25 years. The three-day event will take place Friday, June 7 (3-11 p.m.), Saturday, June 8th (12-11 p.m.), and Sunday, June 9 (12-6 p.m.). Come feast on falafel sandwiches, beef or chicken shawarma straight from the skewers, grape leaves, beef or chicken kabobs hot off the grill, kibbe and more. Guests will also have a chance to sample Middle Eastern desserts alongside a cup of Arabic coffee. Enjoy the bar (including Lebanese beer, wine and arak) while listening to amazing singers and watching the dabke troupe perform a traditional Middle Eastern dance. Bring the kids and let them enjoy the kid zone with fun activities and games or come to just shop the vendors. For more information, visit www.WorcesterMiddleEasternFest.com.
