William R. ClarkClinton – William R. “Bill” Clark, 53, of Clinton and formerly of Marlborough, died June 5, 2019 at Rose Monahan Hospice in Worcester, surrounded by his loving family, after a short illness.

He was born, raised and educated in Marlborough, the son of Robert E. Clark and the late Shirley (Gelina) Clark.

He also leaves four sisters, Donna L. Martins of Worcester, Susan J. Clark of Glenmont, N.Y., Patricia A. Everitt (David) of Westborough, and Bonnie J. Rasla (Ramzy) of Bayonne, N.J.; his Godson, Paul Martins of Leicester; Godmother Lois Jennings of Walpole; and his nephews and nieces, who he loved very much, Paul, Melissa, Nick, Chris, Kaelyn, Natalie, Cristian, Aiden, Jace and Madelynne. He was the husband of Deborah (Woodruff) Clark for the past 18 years. He will be missed by Oreo the Cat.

Bill was a graduate of Assabet Valley High School, class of 1983. He was a Master Carpenter and worked at Lloyd’s Woodworking in Hudson for over 25 years and was most recently employed at Autopart International of Marlborough.

As a young man he was very active with the Boy Scouts, becoming an Eagle Scout, he was an avid outdoorsman that loved to hunt, fish, and camp. He was a member of the Clinton Fish & Game, where he was past president, on the board of directors and range officer, he was also a member of the Greater Grace Christian Fellowship. Bill was dedicated to helping others and traveled to Europe to assist with church restoration, he enjoyed helping others, especially his loving father.

Bill’s family would like to thank the staff at Rose Monahan Hospice Home for their exceptional care of Bill.

A funeral service was held June 10 in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home of Marlborough, with burial at Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson.
