Shrewsbury – The Shrewsbury Woman’s Club (SWC) recently presented scholarships during their annual meeting and luncheon held at Cyprian Keyes Golf Club.
Saige Golen, a senior at West Boylston High School, and Luc Bastarache, a senior at St. John’s High School, each received a $500 Mary Griffin Scholarship. Golen will attend the University of Massachusetts as a pre-med major, and Bastarache will attend Rochester Institute of Technology as a mechanical engineering major. Patrick Griffin, the grandson of Mary Griffin, presented the awards.
Mackenzie Farrell, a senior at Shrewsbury High School, received a $1000 General Scholarship. She will attend the Sienna College as a psychology and pre-law major. Mary Ellen Killelea, SWC Education/Scholarship Co-Chair, presented the award.
