Blue ribbon performance

Shrewsbury – When Kevin Mizikar was appointed as the fourth Town Administrator in Shrewsbury’s history two years ago, he had big shoes to fill. Daniel Morgado had held the post for previous 20 years; prior to that, Allen Wilcox served from 1953-1957 and then Richard Carney served for 40 years, from 1957-1997.

But it appears that the Board of Selectmen is very pleased with the job that Mizikar has done thus far. Recently they gave him marks of “excellent” or “distinguished” on almost all categories of his recent performance review. The board also negotiated a new three year contract with him, which will extend into July 2023.
