Hudson – As models began their strut down the runway path, onlookers cheered and appropriately “oohed” and “aahed” at the fashions displayed at the Business After Hours event of the Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce. Women’s clothing chain maurices hosted a fashion show at their Hudson location in the Highland Commons as a networking gathering for the chamber. Chamber volunteers were each asked to choose two outfits, with the help of boutique manager Cassandra Cavalieri and chamber ambassador Karen Paquette. Cavalieri then provided the commentary as each woman made her way down the center of the store, and both models and audience were given a discount on anything purchased that evening. The entire group then made their way across the parking lot to enjoy appetizers and drinks at the 110 Grill and catch up on networking.
The volunteer models for the evening included Jessica Medina, general manager of the Fairfield Inn and Suites, in the Apex Center; Diane Halper, “volunteer extraordinaire” of the chamber and retired city of Marlborough employee; Nina Sable from Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Real Estate; Jordan Simard from Spenga, soon to open in the Apex Center; Samantha Brown, assistant store manager, TD Bank in Marlborough; Vikki Levine, president of Comfort Zone Home Care; and Darlene Welch, owner, Minuteman Press in Marlborough.
