Westborough – Boston 25 Morning News television will be bringing its popular Zip Trip to Westborough for a live broadcast Friday, July 12, from 6- 10 a.m. at Bay State Commons, 1100 Union Street.
The event will feature Boston 25 News anchors Gene Lavanchy, Sara Underwood, Elizabeth Hopkins, Daniel Miller, Meteorologist Shiri Spear, Boston 25 Sports Anchor Tom Leyden and Boston 25 Around Town Host Michele Lazcano.
Each summer, the Boston 25 team visits communities across the state to put a spotlight on hidden gems, little-known landmarks and good eats. Local newsmakers, hometown teams and community heroes join the broadcasters as special guests.
Neighbors, residents and kids of all ages are invited to be part of Boston 25’s live audience in Westborough. The festival-like atmosphere also includes activities for kids, games, concert ticket giveaways, fun and music. Attendees are encouraged to bring a box of healthy cereal to benefit the Westborough Food Pantry.
