Shrewsbury – The Shrewsbury Public Library, 609 Main St., will hold a number of events in July.

A four-week Vinyasa Yoga course will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, July 16, 23, 30; and Aug. 6.  Join Ruth Febo for a 60-minute vinyasa yoga practice focusing on movement with breath. Bring a yoga mat and a bottle of water. Registration required for each class. Call 508-841-8609, ext. 2 or 3, or register online.

On Wednesday, July 10, at 7 p.m., there will be a talk by local author Sue Salvemini. In her new book, “Leadership By Choice: 7 Keys for Maximizing Your Impact and Influence in the Workplace Today.”  She will also talk about the process of writing the book, much of which was written at the Shrewsbury Public Library. “Celebrating 50 Years of Moon Landing” will be held Thursday, July 18, at 7 p.m. M.J. Johnson will review some of the trivia, local connections and the drama surrounding NASA’s fledgling efforts, and the race to reach the moon. Weather-permitting, you will be able to view the moon through a telescope. This is a drop-in event for all ages.
