Westborough Public Library announces July events for adults

Westborough  –  The Westborough Public Library will present “A Galaxy of Origami Stars” workshop for adults on Tuesday, July 16, at 6:30 p.m. This program is part of the adult summer reading program, “A Universe of Stories.” Registration is required on the library website (www.westboroughlib.org) calendar.

Participants will learn how to make origami stars and bookmarks with instructor Annie Wales. Class size is limited.

The library will be showing the movie, “The Upside” on Thursday, July 25, at 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. as the monthly movie for adults.

A recently paroled ex-convict, Dell, strikes up an unusual and unlikely friendship with a quadriplegic billionaire, Philip Lacasse, in this funny and warm-hearted buddy comedy. From worlds apart, Dell and Philip form an unlikely bond, bridging their differences and gaining invaluable wisdom in the process, giving each man a renewed sense of passion for all of life’s possibilities.
