Boylston – In business since 1984, Fuller Motorhome Rentals & Sales has seen a lot of changes in the recreational vehicle industry. Owned by husband and wife team, Bob and Sheri Fuller, the family business is run with meticulous attention to every detail.

“Fuller Motorhome Rentals & Sales is a one stop shop. Clients deal with one person and receive personalized service from start to finish. We have been doing it for 35 years,” Sheri said.

“In 1998 we got invited out to the Gulfstream factory and became a rental dealer and that’s when we took off. So we bought a couple to see how it works. It worked out!” she said of the couple’s start in the business.

“Then in 2018 we got served a curve ball and hit it out of the park when we were forced to go into the retail end,” she said.

That too has been a success, she added, with many people purchasing RVs to use as a second home. They are also gaining traction as a trend for millennials. As such, their fleet is listed on Facebook Marketplace and they field multiple questions daily from interested buyers.

“We have already sold over a dozen this year,” Sheri said, “and we have over 11 – 2020s in stock.”

Fuller’s retail fleet consists of a full range of Class A, B and C motorhome RVs and travel trailers. In addition to Gulfstream, they also sell Thor, Coachmen, Forest River and Holiday Rambler vehicles.

The Fullers pride themselves on their concierge services which include point to point chauffeuring, and RV or trailer drop off and set up at the client’s destination.

Regarding rentals, several options are available with over 20 different floor plans. July, August and September is when people usually take their vacations and Fuller’s fleet always gets booked up quickly.

Like their retail offerings, their rental stock includes Class A, B and C motorhomes, trailers, and toy haulers. None of these require a special license to drive them. You can also try out the unit before buying it to make sure it’s the right fit, and then the rental price is deducted from the purchase. No retail dealers offer this option, Sheri said.

A deposit of $500 to $5,000 is due on all rental RV reservations, 14 days in advance of departure. All RVs are 100 percent smoke-free. Pets are allowed with an additional $200 fee, per pet (with dogs restricted at 40 pounds.)

“Over the years we have earned an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau,” Sherri noted, “and we have served many charitable organizations.”
