Northborough – Lauren Porcaro, PT, DPT, has joined the staff at Flaherty Physical Therapy in Northborough.
Porcaro graduated from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Services in 2018 with her doctorate in physical therapy. Prior to this she attended Brandeis University where she received her bachelor’s in public health.
Porcaro was a member of the Brandeis varsity softball team and played four years as a centerfielder with an appearance in the 2010 NCAA div. III championship tournament. She later went on to become assistant coach of the Brandeis Judges, helping them to achieve the 2015 ECAC championship. She is a long-time resident of Shrewsbury graduating from Shrewsbury High School in 2008.
Lauren has experience in an acute care setting and is currently working at St. Vincent Hospital, specifically with cardiac, neuro and geriatric patient populations.
