Hudson – Sandra L. (Beauregard) Renes, 79, of Hudson, passed away peacefully July 20, 2019 at UMass Medical Center in Worcester, surrounded by her loving family, after a period of declining health. She is reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband of 40 years, Edward M. Renes, who predeceased her in 2009.
Sandra was born in Worcester, on Christmas Eve in 1939, a daughter of the late Albert and Ethel (Barrows) Beauregard. She was raised in Westborough and graduated from Westborough High School. She later settled in Hudson, with her husband, where she has resided for over 50 years.
Sandra was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her three children, Robin M. Caty and her husband Thomas, Kimberly J. Niemi, and Shawn M. Renes and his longtime beloved companion, Theresa Benesh, all of Hudson. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Todd and Brian Niemi and Rachel and Stephanie Caty, and one great-grandchild, Baby Theo. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two sisters and two brothers.
Relatives and friends are invited to a period of visitation Wednesday, July 24, from 5-7 pm, at TIGHE HAMILTON REGIONAL FUNERAL HOME, 50 Central St., Hudson. Burial will be held privately at a later date.
