Shrewsbury – A presentation on “Death with Dignity – Should Mass. Pass The End of Life Options Act?” will be held Tuesday, Aug. 13, at 6:30 p.m., at the Shrewsbury Public Library, 609 Main St.

The event, which is free, includes a presentation, discussion and Q&A of the End of Life Options Act with John Berkowitz, director of Western Mass Death With Dignity.

Death With Dignity, known as medical and compassionate aid in dying, provides terminally ill, mentally capable citizens facing unbearable pain and unrelieved suffering at the end of their lives the option of a peaceful humane death by self-ingesting medication prescribed by their doctor at a time of the patient’s choosing.
