Hudson – Ruth W. (Cummings) Ryan, 96, died Sept. 11, 2019 after a short period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Robert H. Ryan Sr., who died in 1998. They were married for 58 years.
She was born in Hudson, the daughter of the late Edgar and Florence Nightingale (Stockwell) Cummings, and was a lifelong resident of Hudson.
She is survived by two daughters, Roberta Chapman of Framingham and Linda Ryan of Port St. Lucie, Fla., and many grandchildren. She was predeceased by four sons, Robert H. Ryan Jr., Norman C. Ryan, Daniel C. Ryan, and Dennis M. Ryan.
Private funeral arrangements will be held at a later date.
