Grafton – On Sunday, Sept. 29, from 12 – 4 p.m., the 39th annual Harvest Fair & Apple Pie Social returns to the Grafton Common, hosted by the Congregational Church of Grafton. Admission is free to this family-friendly event and people of all ages are welcome. This event is rain or shine.
The fair offers a mix of activities for everyone in the community, including a children’s toy sale area, children’s games and crafts, a huge attic treasures area, a large book sale, and live musical performances, including the always popular Kelly Clark Harvest Jazz Band.
The Harvest Fair & Apple Pie Social will boast an assortment of homemade foods, including the area’s best baked apple pies and apple crisp, breads and desserts, grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, corn chowder, chili, loaded baked potatoes, and hot/cold apple cider.
Young Harvest Fair attendees will have an opportunity to play many popular children’s games, including a Bounce House, Face Painting, Ring Toss, and Cookie Decorating.
First organized in 1980, this annual event is a great way to bring together members of the community in fellowship and is a fundraiser for the many missions and charities that the church supports. Come one, come all!
