Marlborough – The Marlborough Historical Society will hold an open house sale of items deaccessioned from their archives and storage areas Saturday, Oct. 5, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Peter Rice Homestead, 377 Elm St. In addition, there will be a general yard sale on the grounds as part of the fundraiser.
Donations are needed for sale, such as household items, jewelry, art, collectibles and tools. Clothing will not be accepted. Appraisers will be present to evaluate your treasures for a small fee.
