Westborough – Dr. Jean Keamy of Keamy Eye & Laser Centre in Westborough announced that her movie, “The Last Years,” was accepted to the Shawna Shea Film Festival. Keamy produced and directed the film with two film students Colin Gosselin and Josh Van Batenburg both of Northbridge, who shot and edited the movie. The documentary features Keamy’s aging dogs Morgan and Colby and the impact the loss of a dog has on their owners. The premiere will be held Saturday, Oct. 5, between 12 and 2 p.m. at the Southbridge Hotel and Conference Center, 14 Mechanic St., Southbridge.
