Northborough – Phone scams, cell phone safety, traffic issue and wildlife were topics of discussion on Sept. 26 when Northborough Police Chief William Lyver stopped by for his “Chat with the Chief” coffee session with seniors at the Northborough Senior Center.

Lyver regularly meets twice a month with seniors to stay in touch and to keep his finger on issues that matter to the town’s senior population as well as offering updates from the Police Department.

The “Chat” sessions are very informal but warm and friendly in a conversational setting.

The sessions are free and coffee, tea and pastries are served. For more information, call the Northborough Senior Center at 508-393-5035.
