Northborough/Southborough – The Northborough Southborough Special Education Parent Advisory Council (NSPAC) is hosting a presentation on autism and insurance Wednesday, Oct. 16, from 6-8 p.m. at the Northborough Free Library, 34 Main St.
The featured speaker will be Terri Farrell, Autism Insurance Resource Center of MA (AIRC) project director at UMass Medical School’s Eunice Kennedy Shriver Center in Worcester.
The workshop will discuss ARICA (An Act Relative to Insurance Coverage for Autism), MassHealth, how to figure out what coverage you need and eligibility, premium assistance, the Health Connector, covered treatments and how to access them. Visit massairc.org for more information.
