Northborough – As a part of Wave of Women MA, members of Trinity Church and of the community gathered on Saturday morning, Oct. 19, holding signs of justice and peace, to send a positive message of solidarity to the town of Northborough. Eighteen women, men and children came and stood on the front lawn of Trinity Church on Main Street.
Wave of Women MA was founded in Westborough in 2016 as a grassroots organization to spread a wave of social action across Massachusetts.
Trinity Church’s pastor, Rev. Valeria Schmidt, invited Northborough residents to join in this effort at building a more peaceful and equitable world, and a future for our planet. “We need to show our community that we care,” she said. Several different faith communities were represented at the event.
