Northborough – Northborough Helping Hands Association Inc. (NHHA) will be collecting new and gently used winter coats, snow pants and boots through Thursday, Nov. 21 to benefit Northborough families in need.
Collection bins will be located at Lincoln Street School, 76 Lincoln St.; Marguerite E. Peaslee School, 31 Maple St.; Fannie E. Proctor School, 26 Jefferson Road; Marion E. Zeh School, 33 Howard St.; Robert E. Melican Middle School, 145 Lincoln St.; Algonquin Regional High School, 79 Bartlett St.; and St. Bernadette’s School, 266 Main St. The Northborough Recreation Department located at Town Hall, 63 Main St., and the Northborough Free Library, 34 Main St., will also have collection bins. Toddler- through teen-sized items are needed.
Items will be distributed to families in November and any surplus donations will be shared with other organizations.
