Bringing the community together for a common positive purpose is always a good idea.
The Spirit of Shrewsbury Fall Festival accomplishes that goal. The Shrewsbury Garden Club has always been a participant in the Festival and for the past 15 years has sponsored “Scarecrows on the Common”, a display of scarecrows made by residents, clubs and businesses. The Garden Club would like to thank all those who participated this year in making the display one of the best ever. A special thank you to teachers and students at Sherwood Middle School for researching and creating such a variety of scarecrow characters. Everyone who views the display looks forward to what’s to come next year. Thank you all for another successful Fall Festival bringing together the best of Shrewsbury.
