Northborough – The weather outside was quite frightful for Halloween on Oct. 31, but it was cozy and snug in the meeting room at the Northborough Free Library, where approximately 100 people of all ages attended a Halloween party for families with children ages 2 through 6.

The community was invited to join in on some “spooktacular” fun which included stories, songs, and snacks.  Costumes ranged from dinosaurs to witches – even a Buzz Lightyear and Woody brother duo – to skeletons, Princesses and the cutest little school bus in Northborough.

Children’s Librarian Katrina Ireland was dressed as a mouse which was appropriate because she read “Mouse’s First Halloween,” by Lauren Thompson.

Assistant Children’s Librarian Lindsay Ward was excited to lead the party in song and dance and of course, handing out treats.
